Use the regulator’s record, not the operator’s image
Navigate independently to the claimed regulator and search its register. Compare the legal entity, licence number, current status, authorised product and any listed domains. A copied seal or linked PDF hosted only by the operator is weaker evidence, especially when the entity name differs across terms and privacy documents.

Read what the authorisation actually covers
A licence can be limited by product, territory, brand or technical supplier role. Software certification is not an operator licence, and a wagering authorisation is not automatically a casino authorisation. Note enforcement notices or conditions rather than treating active status as a guarantee of every business practice.

Overseas licensing does not equal Australian approval
The Interactive Gambling Act prevents online casino services from being offered to people in Australia. An offshore regulator may supervise activity elsewhere, but its record does not create an Australian exception. Claims about Australian-licensed wagering should be checked on the relevant local register and kept separate from casino content.
