Loyalty notes
Points are not the same as dollars
A programme may award points from turnover, weighted game contribution or another internal unit. The conversion should be stated clearly and should not be confused with cash or profit. If different products earn at different rates, a headline points total cannot be compared without the weighting table.

- BProduct weighting
- CNo cash equivalence assumption
Loyalty notes
Qualification windows create pressure
Rolling periods, monthly reviews and expiring points can encourage activity near a deadline. Check whether lifetime and current-period status are separate and whether inactivity causes a downgrade. A level that requires continued spend has an ongoing maintenance cost even when the original threshold was reached long ago.

Do not chase sunk progress
Points already earned have no bearing on the chance of future gambling outcomes. Walking away before the next tier can be economically better than risking more to protect a badge. This page deliberately omits threshold calculations designed to tell Australians how much to wager.
- AProgress is a sunk cost
- BBadges have no outcome effect
- CNo wagering threshold guide
